About the Role:
GSL Education are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Maths Teacher to join a vibrant school community in Newcastle. This role is ideal for an educator who is committed to delivering high-quality mathematics education and inspiring students to achieve their full potential.

Maths Teacher Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
• Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
• Utilise innovative teaching methods and digital resources to enhance learning experiences.
• Maintain discipline in accordance with school policies and demonstrate good practice in the classes taught.
• Participate in departmental meetings, parent meetings, and whole school training events.

Maths Teacher Requirements:

• Must be a qualified teacher with a PGCE in Mathematics and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK.
• Experience teaching Maths in a secondary school environment.
• Strong understanding of the current curriculum and a creative approach to delivering it.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
• Commitment to professional development and a willingness to learn.
