About the Role:
Randstad is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced MASH Social Worker to join our team in North Tyneside. This role involves working within our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) to assess and respond to concerns about the welfare and safety of children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families referred to the MASH.
• Gathering information from multiple agencies and sources to inform decision-making.
• Identifying risks and safeguarding concerns and taking appropriate action to address them.
• Collaborating with partner agencies, including the police, health services, and education, to coordinate support and interventions.
• Participating in strategy discussions and contributing to multi-agency meetings.
• Providing support and guidance to colleagues and partner agencies regarding safeguarding issues.

Requirements:

• Qualified Social Worker with registration.
• Experience working in a MASH or similar multi-agency setting.
• Strong assessment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a demanding caseload.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to child protection and safeguarding.
