We are on the lookout for a .NET Developer with a passion for technology and a commitment to enhancing public sector services. As a .NET Developer in our dynamic team, you will be instrumental in advancing our technological capabilities and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Collaborate within an Agile development team to design, develop, test, and maintain innovative software solutions using the Microsoft .NET framework and deploying applications to Azure.
  • Review user requirements and business needs to translate them into technical specifications and robust software solutions.
  • Assess existing systems, providing technical architecture and data system specifications, and contribute to the wider software development lifecycle.
  • Write effective unit tests and work with relational data stores (SQL/NoSQL) to optimize query performance.
  • Engage in pair-programming and lead, inspire, and motivate colleagues by setting clear goals and providing guidance.
  • Foster a culture of high engagement, empowering staff to deliver exceptional services and care, and champion innovation and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree level education or equivalent experience, potentially supplemented by post-graduate diploma knowledge.
  • Proficiency in C# .NET (MVC/Core), API development, and a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience in software development within a formal environment.
  • Ability to write effective unit tests.
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience in pair-programming.
