We are currently looking for a Compliance and Repairs Manager to join a charitable organisation in the Stoke area on a contract to permanent position. As the Compliance and Repairs Manager you will oversee the Repairs and Maintenance team, building management and compliance functions for their local housing stock, as well as working with the Director to embed change and assess future structures within the team.

This role requires an immediate start with a permanent opportunity available.

As the Compliance and Repairs Manager, you will be:
  • Overall responsibility for Building safety & Fire Safety regulatory requirements
  • Responsible for accurate and up to date KPI's reports with regards to Asbestos, Gas, Electric, Fire and Legionella risks.
  • Manage and oversee repairs and maintenance, building management/ cleaning and compliance functions.
  • Carry out inspection of works where required to help diagnose defects
  • Manage void properties and ensure that works are scheduled
  • Manage and champion H&S across the organisation
  • Ensure KPI targets are met and maintained.

Experience / Qualifications:
  • Experience managing external contractors and DLO PPM service
  • Experience within social housing
  • Knowledge of property maintenance, asset management and landlord regulatory compliance.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience managing repairs and planned maintenance works.
  • Previous experience managing the big 6 of compliance

As the Compliance and Repairs Manager, you will receive:
  • £25-£30 per hour
