Drivers required on a self employed basis within expanding company.
Driving roles will be mainly trade plate based with the option to move onto driving one of our 3.5 tonne vehicle transporters.
Shifts start between 4am and 7am at one of our 2 depots based in Silverdale & Goldenhill and mainly operate on a Monday to Friday basis with occasional weekend work which is optional for drivers. We cover nationwide collections and deliveries and all routes are planned to have you finished back at the depot each day.
Collections and deliveries follow a process of inspecting each vehicle for visual damages and tyre condition, any discrepancies are too be noted on our job sheets alongside photo's taken of the vehicle all round covering any area of the vehicle as a back up to the condition report. Some deliveries require the use of 1 of 2 apps which is simply a digital version of the previous process mentioned.
Full on the job training is provided so experience is not essential however a keen eye to detail is a must have. All drivers are covered fully on our insurance policy whilst driving customers or our company vehicles. Trade plates are also provided to each driver at the start of each working day which are handed in at the end of your shift. All public transport costs are fully reimbursed to the driver for any instances where an Uber, taxi or train is required to get from one point to the next.

Our positions as a trade plater start off at £100 per day and will increase to £115 once you are fully competent with the processes involved and can work at the relevant pace required.
3.5 Tonne drivers start off at £110 and will increase to £125 when fully competent in the use of winches, skids and unorthodox loading procedures.
Pay is based on a day rate scheme, when your planned route is complete then it's home time so efficiency and getting familiar with your day in advance is key.
We have numerous driving positions available with immediate starts for full time and part time.
