Role

  • Report directly to the Company Directors and will be responsible for
  • Oversee the day-to-day production operations within the factory.
  • Managing production schedules, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards, optimizing efficiency, and leading a team of production staff to achieve production targets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute production plans to meet company targets, coordinating with the Planning Department to optimise schedules and workflows.
  • Ensure production processes run efficiently while maintaining high standards of product quality and safety.
  • Regularly monitor production metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead and motivate production staff, providing guidance, training, and feedback to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with other departments like quality assurance, maintenance, and supply chain to resolve issues and implement process improvements.

Requirement

  • Level 3 Food Safety / Level 3 HACCP (desirable)
  • IOSH
  • QSHE
  • 5 years Production Management experience in a Food production environment.
  • BRC/Food Safety Knowledge
  • Strong leadership skills and an excellent team player
  • Resilience, integrity and a strong work ethic
