Production Operative

Location: Newmarket, Suffolk

Hours: Monday-Thursday 07:30-16:30 & Friday 07:30-12:30

Hourly Rate: 11.50 Per Hour + Holiday Pay (Weekly Pay)

Duration: Temporary to Permanent

An exciting opportunity to join a family run engineering company based in Newmarket. Previous Manufacturing experience is desirable for this position along with a positive working attitude and willingness to learn. You will be using hand tools, feeding materials into machinery and quality checking of products.

What you will be doing:

Feeding materials into machinery
Assembling products using hand tools
Ensuring your workstation is kept clean and tidy
Preparing components for inspection
Preparing component for welding
Assisting in other departments when required

What we are looking for:

Previous Manufacturing experience
Willingness to learn new skills
Previous experience working with hand tools desirable
Strong communications skills
Positive working attitude
To be able to remain focused whilst working on repetitive tasks
