Senior Maintenance Technician,

Circa 41,000

The company is based in Newport with the factory employing over 50 people. The company has a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, which is equipped with the latest technology. They are committed to continuous improvement and invest heavily in research and development.

The successful candidate will have a strong Electrical background and be able to demonstrate expertise in Electrical/Mechanical problem solving and Root cause analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians in carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
  • Perform troubleshooting and diagnosis of mechanical issues to ensure optimal performance of equipment.
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to maximise equipment uptime and minimise downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
  • Manage maintenance inventory and ensure adequate stock levels of spare parts and equipment.

Key Skills:

  • Electrically qualified with Root cause analysis experience.
  • Experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience of CMMS systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
