My client is a leading name in the FMCG Industry with an enviable portfolio of brands. They are looking to recruit a Senior HR Advisor who will play a pivotal role in shaping the people initiatives and fostering a culture of excellence.

If you're passionate about making a difference and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, this is an ideal opportunity to elevate your HR career!As the Senior HR Advisor, you will report into the site lead and will provide and efficient and effective HR service to the business supporting a headcount of 1200 people. You will support and guide managers through HR policies, procedures, and employment law whilst ensuring HR best practice is followed. You will also be expected to contribute and support in the delivery of strategic HR objectives and people planning.Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and support on a wide range of HR issues, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management and employee development.
  • Collaborate with the wider HR team to drive a culture of excellence where people feel engaged and inspired to deliver and exceed results.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practice.
  • Develop and maintain excellent stakeholder relationships.
  • Support management on Employee Relation and Union matters to drive positive outcomes.
  • Support with ER case work as and when required.
  • Coaching, educating, and partnering with managers on performance management and employee development.
  • Reporting on data and insights for management.
  • *Working closely with the HR Business Partners on the development and delivery of change management projects.

What you will need:

  • Proven experience within a similar HR role
  • CIPD qualified level 5 or above
  • Experience of working within a unionised environment - ideally within a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to lead and manage your own ER case load
  • Up to date employment law knowledge as well as a solid understanding of HR best practice
  • Experience of working with HR systems and data
  • Ability to support the wider HR team on ad hoc projects to include change management.
