Description
As the Health & Safety Lead you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the implementation of HSE policies across the company's property portfolio
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards
- Creating and developing a HSE Culture across the business
- Conducting regular site inspections and audits
- Providing HSE training and awareness programs to staff
- Investigating and reporting on HSE incidents
- Developing and implementing HSE strategies and initiatives
- Liaising with regulatory bodies
- Regularly reviewing and updating HSE policies and procedures
Profile
A successful Health & Safety Lead should be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- A degree or equivalent in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards and knowledge of ISO9001, ISO27001, ISO14001 and best practices
- Proven experience as a Health and Safety Manager or a similar role, with a strong NEBOSH background.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills
- Proficient in risk assessment and incident reporting
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well as part of a team and to lead and motivate others
