Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about education and committed to making a positive impact on young learners' lives? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team in the Newport area. We are seeking a motivated individual with a minimum of one year of experience working within a primary school setting in the UK.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Support individual students with their learning, including those with special educational needs.
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Prepare resources and materials for lessons and activities.
  • Supervise students during class time and on outings.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the classroom and school.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of one year of experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a UK primary school setting.
  • A relevant qualification in education or childcare is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
