We are currently working with a National FMCG Business to assist with the recruitment of a Multi-Skilled Engineer.As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing facilities. You will be responsible for performing preventative and reactive maintenance on a variety of machinery and equipment to minimise downtime and optimise productivity. This role will require you to work on a rotating Monday to Friday 3-shift pattern, including earlies, afters, and nights.Key Responsibilities:* Conducting routine maintenance checks and inspections on machinery and equipment to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.* Responding promptly to breakdowns and malfunctions to minimise downtime and ensure continuous production.* Performing repairs and troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.* Collaborating with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and prioritise tasks effectively.* Utilising computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) to log work orders, record maintenance activities, and maintain accurate documentation.* Adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.Requirements:* Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment.* Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.* Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to maintenance.* Flexibility to work on a rotating 3-shift pattern, including earlies, afters, and nights.* Relevant technical qualifications (e.g., NVQ, HNC, HND) in engineering or a related field.* Experience working with PLCs and other automated systems would be advantageous.Benefits:* Competitive salary commensurate with experience.* Pension scheme.* Opportunities for career advancement and professional development.* A supportive working environment with a focus on employee wellbeing.Please click apply to register your interest in this role.
