Warehouse / FLT Operator
12.50 per hour
Monday to Friday - 8am to 4.30pm, Fri - 7am to 12pm
Temporary to permanent
Newport (Treforest first 2 months for training)
Acorn by Synergie is working with a client who manufacture pest control products seeking a Warehouse / FLT Operative to support their site. The role is temporary leading to permanent after 12 successful weeks on assignment and will include working from Treforest for the first two months training.
Duties Include:
* Efficient storage, transportation & distribution of all retail & professional customer products to our global customer base and sister companies.
* Ensure an efficient delivery of raw materials & components to the shop floor in line with the production plan, w/orders & Kan Ban systems in place.
* The stores facility operates in an efficient manner, minimising stock errors and losses.
* To ensure appropriate documentation is generated and stored in accordance with company systems.
Key Requirements:
* FLT - counterbalance, pallet truck & reach / bendi license - external licenses required
* Knowledge of stock & Inventory Control Systems.
* Good understanding / experience of continuous improvement tools & techniques.
* Having good written and spoken communication abilities
