Location: Newquay

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Monday-Friday/ 40 hours a week

Acorn by Synergie is currently seeking a Qualified Electrician for their client in Newquay.

Responsibilities:

-Perform both routine and non-routine electrical maintenance, along with inspecting and testing domestic and commercial electrical systems to ensure compliance with BS7671 and manufacturer standards.

-Diagnose and rectify electrical faults within domestic and commercial electrical systems.

-Undertake rewiring of faulty electrical systems, encompassing lighting, power, heating systems.

-Execute replacement and installation of Distribution Boards.

-Collaborate with apprentices, providing guidance and support for their career advancement.

-Participate in rotational on-call system.

Qualification and Skills:

-Electrical experience in both commercial and domestic settings

-Possession of City and Guilds Level 2 & 3 qualifications in Electrical Installations

-Completion of Time Served Electrician Inspection & Test 2391 or equivalent (preferred)

-Updated knowledge of the current standard 18th Edition BS7671

-Familiarity with EV Charge Points (Training available if necessary)

-Knowledge of security alarms, CCTV, fire alarms, and prevention systems (desired but not essential)

-Understanding of Solar PV and Battery Storage systems (desired but not essential - training provided)

-Hold a valid UK driving licence

-Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
