Butler Rose is exclusively recruiting a Finance Manager for a well-established business in the Newquay area.
This is a lead finance role, reporting into and working closely with the General Manager.
Key duties will include:
- Complete monthly management accounts
- Attend a monthly accounts review meeting in order to discuss, reflect and generate ideas to drive the business forward.
- Improve cost performance
- Produce annual budgets.
- Manage cashflow and prepare cash flow forecasts where necessary and producing a weekly cash flow report.
- Assist the General Manager to create business plans and proposals in order to look for new ways to drive financial performance
- Complete payroll for all employees
- Complete year-end reports including a narrative with an overview of performance and analysis of cost.
- Complete all VAT returns
- Monitor debtors and creditors
- Banking reconciliations
- Assist with the annual audit to ensure everything is in place and accurate for the auditors.
The successful candidate with be either a formally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), or qualified by experience with a demonstrable skill set.
