Full Time Trainee Service Engineer / IT Support Technician
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our Service team at Clarity as a Trainee Service Engineer / IT Support Technician.
Ideal candidates will have studied in one of the following fields: IT, Electronics, and/or Engineering.
Position: Full Time Trainee Service Engineer / IT Support Technician
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm
Location: Modern Newton Abbot Head Office
Responsibilities:
Initially, alongside a fully trained engineer, you would:
· Setup and test new or refurbished Copier-Printer Equipment in our Workshop
· Conduct network testing prior to installations
· Provide telephone and remote assistance to customer’s IT related queries
· Attend service and repair calls
· Access manufacturers’ websites for technical information
· Attend Sharp Training and Software Courses when required on the current range of Copier-Printer-Scanners
Requirements:
· Valid driving licence (or provisional with Theory test completed and passed)
· Educational background in one of the following: IT, Electronics, or Engineering.
· Technical aptitude and willingness to learn
· Ability to work independently and within a team
· Excellent communication skills
