Are you an experienced CNC Setter/Programmer looking for a new role?

Baltic Recruitment are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our well established client based in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for programming and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to fabricate parts according to engineer drawings/specifications.

Duties:

- Experience of setting and programming a CNC Lathe (Faunc Control experience essential)

- Comfortable working with a variety of inspection equipment including gauges, verniers, micrometers and Bore Micrometres- Develop and write programs for CNC machines using CAD/CAM software- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform machining operations- Select and install appropriate tooling and fixtures for each job- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality and accuracy- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet required specifications- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machines or programs- Collaborate with engineers and designers to optimize part designs for manufacturing

Skills:- Proficiency in programming and operating CNC machines- Familiarity with logic controllers and their functions- Experience with CAD/CAM software for programming CNC machines

Requirements:- Previous experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role- Strong attention to detail and precision in work- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Pattern:

39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 4:00pm and Friday 7:30am - 3:00pm

Pay rate:

£13 - £15ph depending on experience
