Reed Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be working with a successful business in Newtownabbey and are actively recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join their finance team.
This is a full time permanent opportunity, office based.
Hours of work 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm.

Working as part of a structured finance team, the Finance Assistant will support with sales ledger, purchase ledger and subcontractor ledger.
More specific duties will involve:
Sales ledger invoicing
Match, process and file high volumes of purchase invoices and payments for multiple suppliers.
Process subcontractor invoices on accounting software, accounting for CIS where relevant.
Uploading of invoice to accounting software from supplier portals
Check and reconcile supplier statements.
Raise credit queries.
Monitor accounts email boxes and process as necessary.
Respond to and resolve internal and external supplier enquiries.
Process employee expenses.
The Person:
Applicants will have previous accounts experience ideally within the construction industry.
Applicants will work well as part of a small team and will be eager to learn.
Subcontractor experience would be preferable but is not essential.
This opportunity would suit a Finance Assistant keen to study with ATI or equivalent.
