Accounts Team Leader
We have an exciting opportunity for a committed Accounts Team Leader who will report to the Management Accountant and be responsible for ensuring the accounts team produces accurate and timely company accounts and meets financial reporting targets. You will be highly motivated and reliable, with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. You will be experienced with Sage accounting systems (preferably Sage 200) and will have some experience of team leading. You will be an excellent communicator and have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
To be successful in this role, candidates must have the following
- At least three years experience in a similar role, preferably in a food manufacturing and distribution environment.
- Strong working knowledge of working up to trial balance and assisting with final accounts preparation.
- Meticulously well-organised and reliable
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills with experience in leading a team.
- Strong IT skills, Microsoft applications, and experience managing stock control, preferably Sage Line 50 and Sage 200 / Sage Payroll.
- Experience of managing import/export, Intrastat, and EC Sales processes within the food industry would also be relevant.
Our ideal candidate has experience and a track record of success in all aspects of accounting tasks within a manufacturing environment, preferably food, within markets at home and abroad. It would be desirable for the candidate to have accounting technician qualifications or be a part-qualified accountant.
