Presales Executive
Position: Permanent, full time
Hours: Monday to Friday 9-5.30
Location: Hybrid model - 3 days working from office (Castleford) and 2 days working from home
Starting Salary: To 拢35k Dependant on experience, Sales Incentive Plan and annual company profit bonus

This is an IT solutions provider, supplying to B2B, value-added resellers, managed service providers, and system integrators. Working with leading IT vendors, specializing in server and core IT infrastructure, actively sourcing over 10,000 products a year from their broad customer base.
We require an experienced Pre-Sales Executive to support the sales team by providing technical expertise and solution presentations to potential customers. The role includes general administration in line with customer sales transactions; however, it is primarily sales-focused. Alongside supporting the sales team, the Pre-Sales Executive will also work directly with new and existing customers to provide tailored solutions for their IT requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
路 Support the sales team with pre-sales quotes
路 Build technical relationships with prospects and/or existing customers
路 Ensure customers receive excellent customer service
路 Handle inbound enquiries from existing customers
路 Warm call as appropriate to ensure lapsed customers are re-activated
路 Negotiate pricing and raise sales orders
路 Contact prospective customers to promote products
路 Revive dormant customer accounts
KEY SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
路 Technical knowledge of server technologies, network infrastructure, and cloud solutions
路 Vendor accreditation & qualifications may include some or all of the following vendors: Dell, HPE, Cisco, Microsoft Azure
路 Possess strong business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
路 Self-motivated and driven
路 Composed and confident telephone manner
路 Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, complex environment
路 Team-oriented
路 Computer literate - MS Office (intermediate Excel), knowledge of CRM platform formats
IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Trade or technical experience is preferred - training will be provided
- Strong work ethic
- Strong relationship building, communication and negotiation skills
