Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Learning Behaviour Mentor to join our team and provide invaluable support to children with SEND needs. As a Learning Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a positive and supportive learning environment for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to children with SEND needs, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
  • Implement individualized behaviour management strategies to support positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
  • Collaborate with teachers to adapt and differentiate learning materials and activities to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Support students during lessons, providing encouragement and guidance as needed.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to promote a supportive learning community.
  • Monitor and track the progress of students, providing feedback and reporting on their development.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEND needs, preferably within a school setting.
  • Knowledge of behaviour management techniques and strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with diverse learning needs.
