Gillespie Recruitment are delighted to be working with our client, a leading technology development company, in their search for a Chief Financial Officer!
This role is remote working based in the North East, UK.
As Chief Financial Officer, you will oversee the financial and administrative functions of the company. You would ensure that the company is always on a stable financial footing, running forecasts and scenarios and creating contingency plans for risks arising.
Main Responsibilities:
路Take responsibility for the administrative functions of the company.
路Line management, leading and supervising administrative staff.
路Ensure company solvency and a successful going concern through excellent cashflow management, budget forecasting, budget management, and report to the board on such matters.
路Maintain and manage relationships with relevant funders, investors, and consultants.
路Maintain the company鈥檚 formalised management systems, and through collaboration with stakeholders ensure they continue to be fit for purpose over time.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with a proven ability in a senior finance role. You must have the ability to work both with commercial clients and public funding bodies. Also, you must possess previous experience in the engineering/renewable energy industry.
