Cover Supervisor

Location: North Shields, North Tyneside
Salary Scale: £75 - £100 per day
Contract: Full Time, Temporary

About the Role:
GSL Education are currently seeking a dynamic Cover Supervisor to join secondary schools across North Shields. The role involves overseeing classroom activities in the absence of regular teachers.

Job Summary:

Supervise classes to ensure a conducive learning environment.
Implement provided lesson plans during teacher absences.
Maintain discipline and manage student behaviour.

Job Responsibilities:

Ensure students actively participate in lesson activities.
Address any queries or concerns raised by students.
Uphold classroom order and safety standards.

Qualifications:

Experience in an educational setting is preferred but not essential.
Strong classroom management abilities.
Effective communication and organisational skills.

Note:
This role requires a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies. Successful candidates must undergo background checks, including an enhanced DBS disclosure on the update service.
