General Cover Teacher

Location: North Shields, Tyne and Wear
Salary: £150 to £200 per day
Start Date: Immediate

GSL Education are seeking a versatile and dynamic General Cover Teacher for immediate start in North Shields, Tyne and Wear. This role is ideal for a teacher who enjoys variety and is capable of teaching across different subjects and year groups.

About the Role:

• Provide cover for absent teachers, delivering pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects.
• Maintain classroom discipline, ensuring a positive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching methods to cater to the needs of diverse groups of students.
• Support the school’s policies, including those related to safeguarding and behaviour management.
• Contribute to the overall ethos, work, and aims of the school.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Strong organisational and classroom management skills.

• A proactive and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning.
• Experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
