Salary: 35,000 - 40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Holt Automotive is currently seeking an experienced and reliable PSV Mechanic to join a well-established team based in North Shields. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled technician looking to work with a reputable business that offers stability, progression, and a competitive salary package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and repairs on PSV (Public Service Vehicles)
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults
- Conduct MOT preparations and safety inspections to DVSA standards
- Work on a variety of vehicles including buses and coaches
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately
- Qualified Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
- Proven experience working as a PSV or HGV mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Valid UK driving licence (PCV licence advantageous but not essential)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Competitive salary of 35,000 - 40,000 depending on experience
