Primary Teaching Assistant
Location: North Shields, Tyne and Wear
Salary: £80 to £100 per day

GSL Education are excited to offer an incredible opportunity for dedicated Primary Teaching Assistants to join vibrant primary schools in North Shields, Tyne and Wear. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in children's lives and contributing positively to their educational journey.

About the Role:

  • Supporting the delivery of classroom activities under the direction of a class teacher.
  • Assisting individual students and small groups to enhance their learning and understanding.
  • Providing emotional and behavioural support to children, promoting a positive learning environment.
  • Contributing to the planning and preparation of learning activities and the creation of educational resources.
  • Engaging with parents and guardians regarding the progress and welfare of students.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience in a primary school setting or relevant educational qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent).
  • A strong commitment to child development and learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and creativity in supporting teaching and learning.
  • A positive and proactive approach to managing challenges.
