Salary: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager to support the UK sales and distribution of HVAC products. To attract top talent, we are offering competitive packages for individuals who can contribute significantly to our team.

Key Responsibilities:

·As a Business Development Manager, you will increase sales turnover and product awareness within an agreed list of existing and target customers.

·Provide the wider team with industry-specific updates.

·Formulate and execute an effective business plan to achieve or exceed set sales targets/business objectives, utilising your expertise as a Business Development Manager.

·Generate future opportunities within new accounts across the contractor spectrum (Installers/M&E Contractors) - HVAC businesses (85% of time).

·Grow sales within existing accounts, identifying opportunities to add additional value to their business (10% of time).

·Develop relationships with consultants and build a project specification pipeline within a defined territory (5% of time).

·Track projects from end-to-end, forecast sales, and ensure conversion as the Business Development Manager.

·Actively increase specification for products and services in the marketplace

·Promote the MiPro philosophy and ensure core values are adhered to in all company matters, aligning with the responsibilities of a Business Development Manager.

·Performance against agreed sales targets, overall pipeline, specification, and conversion targets, will be monitored closely by the Business Development Manager.

·Key account development and new business acquisition are critical aspects of the role

·Customer retention (new accounts, lost accounts, re-buy ratios) will be a key metric for the Business Development Manager.

·Regional activity as agreed with line manager is another responsibility of the Business Development Manager.

·Collection ratios/Credit management will be overseen by the Business Development Manager.

Requirements:

·Good technical understanding of Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Ventilation, and Heating, including competitor products.

·Understanding of HVAC market trends and changing client needs.

·Familiarity with relevant legislation and regulations relating to HVACR.

·Excellent customer service skills, with proven sales and negotiation abilities.

Desirable:

·Technical understanding of HVAC/Renewable product system design and solution/application selling.

·Knowledge of value engineering Design & Build AC Projects.

·Technical qualification in reference to air conditioning.

·Experience in conducting CPD presentations to Consultants/Specifiers.

·Experience submitting detailed customer business case proposals to line management.

·Experience working within AC Contracting.

·Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
