Do you thrive on continuous improvement and aspire to contribute to a 'zero defects and zero accidents' culture? If so, my client offers an exciting opportunity as a QHSE Lead.

In this pivotal role, the QHSE Lead will support the Quality Manager and the quality team to ensure adherence to quality, environmental, and health and safety standards in line with legislation and company procedures. You will need to have a proven background within a QHSE led role within the manufacturing sector and a genuine drive for wanting to make a difference in continuous improvement, along with the ability to educate and enthuse personnel about HSE rather than just dictate. Experience in quality assurance, internal auditing (BRC and/or ISO standards), NEBOSH certification, and familiarity with HACCP principles will be advantageous.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
  • Providing operational support on all aspects of health, safety, environment, and quality;
  • Engaging closely with operations colleagues to improve and drive QHSE standards;
  • Compiling accident and incident reports and undertaking investigations;
  • Conducting audits and implementing corrective measures;
  • Delivering training, including inductions for new starters.
