Morgan McKinley Northern Home Counties is working with a not-for-profit business, looking for an experienced individual with a knack for handling financial transactions. Our client is looking for a skilled Financial Accountant to join a hands-on, dynamic team in Northampton.
Financial Accountant - Northampton (office based) - up to £45,000pa - Full Time - Permanent
The Financial Accountant will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial informationand ensure the business complies with all deadlines/reporting standards.
Key Responsibilities;
- Lead on production of Statutory and Management Accounts
- Prepare accurate financial statements
- Record and classify financial transactions
- Ensure compliance with regulations and standards
- Analyze financial data for insights
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
- VAT & corporate tax return completion and submission in line with compliance requirements.
The ideal candidate profile;* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). * Experience with finance software packages, preferably Sage 200 or equivalent. * Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. * Ability to work collaboratively within a team or independently. * Highly organized and efficient with strong communication skills.
