CNC Programmer (Lathes)
Here at Impact Recruitment we are currently seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join one of our clients, focusing on operating CNC Lathes using Mazatrol controls. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in programming, setting up, and operating CNC turning machines to produce precision components according to specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program CNC Lathes using Mazatrol controls and programming language.
- Set up and calibrate machines to ensure proper functionality.
- Operate CNC turning machines to produce components with precision and accuracy.
- Monitor machine operations to detect any issues or deviations from specifications.
- Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect finished components to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot problems and optimize processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer, specifically operating turning machines.
- Previous experience with Mazatrol is a necessity.
- Strong knowledge of CNC machine operations and programming principles.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine issues.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Prior experience with CAD/CAM software is desirable but not essential.
