We are looking for a Junior Finance Analyst to join a dynamic and innovative company based in Northampton. Our client is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their growing finance team. You will be provided with the opportunity to grow and develop. Hybrid and flexible working is available with this role.

As a Junior Finance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance department in various financial analysis tasks. You will have the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders and managers to gain valuable experience and contribute to the company's financial success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes, such as budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Assist in performing cost-benefit analysis for potential investments and initiatives.
  • Help maintain financial models and databases to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial information and provide insights.

Experience:

  • Actively studying for a finance qualification - ACCA/CIMA or latter stages of AAT
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks.
