Wilson Recruitment have partnered with another automotive business based in the NN4 region of Northampton and the family owned business are now seeking a Light Vehicle Mechanic / Light Vehicle Technician for their brand new workshop.

Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire, NN4
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience, skills and qualifications from 26k to 42k
Rota: Monday to Friday (Apply online only), with the possibility of weekend overtime
Environment: Family run business, brand new workshop, brand new tools and kit

Candidate:
- Must have a City & Guilds OR NVQ in Light Vehicle Repair, Maintenance and Service
- Will be a well-rounded personality to work as part of a small team (mandatory)
- Can demonstrate steady career history in the form of a CV and References (mandatory)
- Shall have hands-on experience of working as an apprentice Mechanic or more (mandatory)
- Could be a time served mechanic with or without afore mentioned qualifications (desirable)
- Might hold an MOT tester licence (extremely desirable)
- May be a newly qualified Mechanic with some hands-on work experience within a workshop
- Will hold a valid UK driving licence with minimum Cat B - car and van (mandatory)
- Should have a minimum two (2) years of working within a workshop environment (desirable)
- Can communicate effectively both verbal and written (mandatory)
- Shall possess a can-do attitude, have excellent customer service skills and work well within a small team (mandatory)
- Should have access to own tools (desirable)
