Are you either an experienced Planner in the FMCG sector or a recent Graduate looking to build a career in supply chain? Then this Production Planner position with one of the UK's leading FMCG companies may be the perfect move!
A key part of the role you will need to plan and organise manufacturing volumes throughout the shift in the most cost-effective way. The role will cover preparing and updating weekly and monthly planning schedules, maintain the product database and producing monthly capacity reports.
The type of candidate the company is looking is someone who can develop good working relationships with the planning team, other departments and customer relations. If this is your first step into planning then you'll be provided with training, development and progression opportunities in return for hard work and dedication.
Ideal Candidate
* Experience in a planning role within an FMCG company or recently graduated with a Business Management, Supply Chain degree or similar.
* Excellent problem-solving skills to carryout duties and adapt to changes in the business.
* Strong communication skills to develop strong relationships with other departments and customers.
* Basic Excel understanding.
* An advantage for an experienced Planner would be SAP and IBP knowledge.
