Day-to-day of the role:
Plan, prepare, and deliver stimulating Science lessons that captivate and challenge students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.Cultivate a constructive and inclusive learning atmosphere where students are encouraged to realise their highest potential.Evaluate student progress, offer valuable feedback, and devise tailored strategies to meet individual learning requirements.Work in collaboration with fellow educators to refine and advance the Science curriculum, integrating cutting-edge teaching methods and materials.Maintain open and effective communication with students, parents, and guardians to support student well-being and academic achievements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a degree in Science or a related discipline.Demonstrable experience in teaching Science, underpinned by a robust knowledge of the national curriculum.Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of inspiring and engaging students from varied backgrounds and aptitudes.A commitment to ongoing professional development and a proactive approach to reflective practice.Team player with a willingness to contribute positively to the broader school community.
