We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team and work with one of our key banking clients on their digital transformation project. In this role, you will not only represent our business, but also exemplify our dedication to excellence and client satisfaction.

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Daily Rate: £900 (Outside IR35)

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Hybrid - Northamptonshire (1 hour from St Pancras by train)

The Project:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to be at the forefront of executing a large-scale change programme for our client, in the banking sector. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.In this project. You will place a crucial leadership role, driving projects and work streams through the entire change lifecycle. We expect you to not only manage, but to lead on delivery, and take personal responsibility for project success.

You will be accountable for ensuring that projects deliver required outcomes within specified constraints of time, cost, and quality, achieving the benefits outlined in the business case. This involves managing and motivating resources, overseeing plans and financials, and adhering to stage gate and control guidelines throughout the development lifecycle, including business readiness and implementation.

Experience Required:

  • Strong technical knowledge of core banking.
  • Experience of managing and working with multiple third parties.
  • Extensive experience in end-to-end digital transformations in the banking sector.
  • Delivery of significant digital transformation projects with budgets exceeding £5 million.
  • Ability to manage and oversee projects from the initial planning stages through to full implementation.
  • Expertise in digitalising banking operations in order to effectively challenge suppliers and technical teams.
  • Deep knowledge of core banking and related functions, ideally with experience of digital banking platforms.
