Position: Quality Inspector
Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire
Type: Temporary (with potential for permanent placement)
Salary: 11.75 per hour
Hours: 37.5 per week (Monday - Thursday 7:00 to 15:30, Friday 7:00 to 12:30) + overtime when available

Responsibilities:
As a Quality Inspector, you will be an integral part of the Quality team, responsible for:
- Inspecting components to ensure they meet specifications outlined in technical drawings
- Ensuring that operations meet internal and customer quality standards
- Completing production Approval to Runs and conducting Quality/Process audits
- Ensuring assembly operations comply with standard work, packing, and labeling requirements
- Maintaining accurate records in accordance with the Quality Management System
- Performing gauge calibration and coordinating outsourced calibration services
- Conducting MSA studies to validate gauging processes
- Contributing to continuous improvement activities
Requirements:
- Knowledge and understanding of interpreting engineering drawings and geometric tolerancing
- Strong mathematical skills including trigonometry and measurement error analysis
- Ability to perform "first principle" inspection using various measurement equipment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivation, enthusiasm, and willingness to be hands-on
- Drive to develop and enhance skills and abilities
