Project Manager Printing Equipment

Were working with a global name within print and imaging to assist them in their search for an experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage projects in collaboration with their equipment supplier.

Working as part of the service team, the ideal person for this role will be highly technical with a great understanding of print solutions; someone who has excellent client management skills and can lead projects through from the initial sale through to being on site for final machinery install.

Based remotely from your home - you'll work across the UK undertaking site surveys, overseeing kit installs and working as the bridge between the equipment supplier and the end client. Acting as the go to every step of the way to make sure each project goes as smoothly as possible whilst delivering a quality service each and every time.

This position would suit someone who is familiar with working in a field-based role perhaps an ex-printing press / machinery demonstrator or similar, who is familiar with the technical elements of the client management cycle associated with new equipment installs.

The Role
- Manage the full lifecycle of project installations which includes both equipment and software, of a variety of Print on Demand equipment
- Work closely with the equipment supplier and stakeholders to define and develop comprehensive project plans including schedules, budgets, resource allocation and contingency plans
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies, monitoring projects throughout their lifecycle to ensure availability of required resources
- Ensure quality standards are met, reviewing and implementing corrective measures as needed
- Manage client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction providing regular updates, addressing client concerns and handling any project-related issues timely and efficiently


The Person
- Thorough understanding of managing installation projects, preferably within the print / packaging / associated manufacturing industry, of both equipment and software
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or similar equivalent
- Excellent customer management and communication skills
- Highly organised, familiar with running multiple projects at any one time
- Comfortable with extensive work-related travel and willingness to stay away from home when required this role covers the whole of the UK and you are expected to be on the road several times a week
- IT literate with excellent spoken and written English language skills
- Can work autonomously as well as build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Full driving licence


Salary & Benefits
Competitive salary on offer up to £50,000 plus package including 10% performance related bonus, company car/car allowance, private medical, life assurance, 26 days holidays plus Bank Holidays.
