A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, experienced and results oriented Business Development Manager, who is a true professional within the logistics, distribution and warehousing industry. You will demonstrate a proven track record of success in securing new business and fully maximising opportunities within the existing customer base. The company, a well-established, progressive and award winning 3PL provider who offer multifaceted warehousing solutions is keen to appoint a skilled Business Development Manager with a bias towards storage and warehousing, to support their strategic growth. Whilst the business is located in Northamptonshire, the client is more interested in a result driven candidate, and is therefore flexible on the individual's location.

Reporting directly to the MD, your duties will include identifying, assessing and securing new business opportunities for growth via new customers and services, working very collaboratively to fully devise and sell warehousing solutions. You will fully support the implementation of new business into operations, so it is essential that you have a solid logistics background.

The qualities in people that the client holds close to their heart and are looking to identify, are those individuals who are solutions oriented, very consultative in their approach, have the desire to want to get under the skin of the customers' business and understand their pain and pressure points and then offer viable, profitable solutions that meet and exceed their needs. They are keen to understand how the successful person builds long term, relationships based on professionalism and integrity and would expect the successful sales professional to be a skilled, active listener.
