We are excited to offer an opportunity for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join a reputable educational trust with secondary schools located in Bedford, Northampton, and Luton. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching and committed to providing a high standard of education to students across KS3 to KS5 (optional). This role is perfect for an ECT who is eager to work collaboratively within a supportive team environment and contribute positively to the students’ learning experience.
Day-to-day of the role:- Plan and deliver stimulating and engaging lessons that challenge and inspire secondary students to reach their full potential.
- Monitor and assess students’ progress, maintaining regular records of academic performance.
- Foster a positive and safe learning environment conducive to student learning.
- Collaborate with school management, teaching staff, and parents to ensure comprehensive academic support for students.
- Participate in school-related activities, including performances, events, and parent/teacher meetings.
- Adhere to safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of all children.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain an orderly and safe learning environment.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Specialism in a relevant subject area.
- Recognised teaching qualification, preferably a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate learners.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with parents, staff, and students.
- In-depth knowledge of the national curriculum and its practical application in the classroom.
- Ability to adapt teaching styles to accommodate various learning styles.
- A genuine passion for teaching and making a positive impact on students’ lives.
