Job Duties:- Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons to students in line with the KS3 and KS4 curriculum
- Assess and provide feedback on students' work to support their learning and development
- Implement effective teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
- Participate in departmental meetings and collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience
- Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in extracurricular activities
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) qualification
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in the relevant subject
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude
- Passion for working with young people
- Understanding of safeguarding procedures
- Good knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum
- Previous experience teaching Geography at the secondary level is highly desirable.
- Passion for working with young people and fostering a positive learning environment
- Understanding of safeguarding procedures and the importance of student welfare
- Good knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Geography curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Additional training in educational leadership or special educational needs (SEN) is advantageous
