I am looking for a CTO in an innovative Health Tech startup with the mission to disrupt and expand healthcare diagnostics.

They are dedicated to developing cutting-edge technology to empower healthcare professionals with advanced tools for accurate and efficient diagnostics. As they pave the way for a new era in healthcare, they are seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead their technology strategy and drive the development of our groundbreaking large language style model utilising health data. Furthermore, this position will initially focus on the aiding for funding rounds & using connections previously made in similar roles to open doors in the future.

Position Overview:

As the CTO, you will play a vital role in shaping the technological direction of this company, leading the development and implementation of revolutionary AI-driven diagnostics platform. You will spearhead the design and deployment of the large language style model, leveraging health data to provide invaluable insights and support to healthcare professionals worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of a technology strategy, aligning with the company's overall vision and goals.
  • Oversee the design, architecture, and implementation of AI-driven diagnostics platform, with a focus on leveraging health data to enhance diagnostic accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and Healthcare Professionals to ensure the successful delivery of innovative solutions.
  • Drive research and development efforts to continuously improve this large language style model, incorporating the latest advancements in AI and health informatics.
  • Establish and maintain best practices for software development, quality assurance, and data security to ensure the integrity and reliability of our platform.
  • Contribute to the raising of funding rounds, utilising your connections to VCs, investors, and PE firms where possible. Present & display the research being carried out at this business.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of leadership in technology roles, with a focus on AI, machine learning, and healthcare technology is essential.
  • Extensive experience in developing and deploying AI-driven solutions, particularly in the healthcare domain.
  • Strong background with LLMs AND NLP (Natural Language Processing), both with developing these and deploying.
  • Deep understanding of health data management, privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA), and data security best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; PhD preferred.

The role is located in Cheshire and will be required to work on a hybrid basis in the office and at home. The role will come with a competitive salary & equity in the business as well as a wealth of benefits.
