Description
- Monitor and review P&L performance.
- Work closely with other departments to drive performance and deliver agreed numbers.
- Continuous analysis of profitbaility & performance.
- Support balance sheet management through the development and maintenance of accurate and timely forecasts.
- Understanding and interpretation of key financial reporting standards to ensure appropriate treatment within both management and financial accounts.
- Developing strategies and financial plans to drive the company's financial performance.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Leading and motivating a team of finance professionals
Profile
A successful Senior Commercial Finance Manager should have:
- A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Finance qualification- ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
- Proven experience within the financial services industry or a regulated environment.
- Excellent understanding of financial regulations and standards.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Confident working within a team or autonomously.
- Ability to develop and implement financial strategies.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly strong excel skills.
