Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £43,000 - £44,000
Shift: Double Days Mon - Fri
Location: Northwich
An exciting new position is now available for a Maintenance Engineer to join a leading family owned FMCG manufacturing business at their site in Northwich. I am looking for a Maintenance Engineer that is multi skilled, ideally electrical bias but would still consider a mechanical bias engineer that has strong electrical skills. The maintenance engineer needs to hold an engineering qualification and they also ideally need to have a manufacturing or processing background. The Maintenance Engineer will benefit from technical and career progression as the company grows and will have the chance to grow their skill set. As a Maintenance Engineer you be working on breakdowns and planned maintenance, fault diagnosis and breakdown repairs of plant and site service equipment, involvement in continuous improvement. The successful maintenance engineer will also need to have strong problem-solving skills and be pro-active and hands on in their approach.
Skills required for the Maintenance Engineer:
- Have an engineering qualification.
- Multi skilled with ideally an electrical bias
- Or multi skilled mechanical bias with strong electrical skills
- Manufacturing or process background
- Experience carrying out planned maintenance and attending breakdowns.
- Continuous improvements
- Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
