Your new companyYour new company is a leading chemical, manufacturing company based in Cheshire. They are an upper tier COMAH site and are looking for a lead engineer with an EC&I background to join the growing team.Your new roleAs the Lead EC&I Engineer, you will be responsible for maintenance and engineering standards across E&I on site. This role is a responsible site engineer for HV & LV distribution, sub-distribution, process instrumentation and infrastructure systems.You will be responsible for defining the inspection, maintenance and asset management strategies. You will work closely with planners and supervisors to ensure effective plans are in place. As well as this, you will control assigned projects and contracts.What you'll need to succeedYou will have:
- A recognised electrical qualification to degree level or alternative route
- Detailed knowledge of the UK framework for Electrical systems & SHE standards - BS7671 & 2391 are essential
- Experience of Risk Assessment, COSHH and permit to work processes essential
- Knowledge of high voltage switchgear and distribution networks
- Extensive experience in leading EC&I capital projects
