About:

My client offers an in-house design and planning with an ever expanding team of trades and suppliers. Covering Green Roof, Media Walls, Excavated Basements, New Extensions and more.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare and analyse financial statements.
  • Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts.
  • Provide financial insights for decision-making.

Financial Management:

  • Manage cash flow and liquidity.
  • Implement cost control measures.
  • Support financial strategy development.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain internal controls.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Lead and mentor the finance team.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other departments.
  • Communicate financial performance to senior management.

Financial Operations:

  • Oversee accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Coordinate external audits.
  • Implement financial systems.

Strategic Planning:

  • Contribute to business planning and investment analysis.
  • Track and report key financial performance indicators (KPIs).

Industry-Specific Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate project accounting and cost tracking.
  • Review contracts for financial terms and risks.
  • Support the bidding process with financial analysis.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA preferred.
  • Experience in financial management within the construction and design industry.
  • Proficiency in financial software.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
