Our client, a multi-disciplinary consultancy who deliver industry-leading engineering services, are looking for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer. You will be based out of Norwich but work on a flexible / Hybrid basis.
You will lead & mentor the team, including the development of junior engineers, whilst leading projects to ensure they are delivered successfully & on time.
Other duties include:
- Deliver drawings, high-quality designs, and reports using engineering materials including concrete, steel, masonry, timber, etc., together with soils, foundations and drainage, and in a form that can readily be checked by another member of staff.
- Apply Eurocodes, British Standards, current Construction (Design and Management) (CDM) Regulations and other design codes/information as required
- Site investigations, complete inspections, and resolve any issues.
- Project design from commencement to completion.
- Represent the company at design team meetings
- Clear communication regarding matters of structural safety, and keep up-to-date with information provided by CROSS

Skills & Experience
- Solid background in Structural Engineering
- Experience of leading a team
- Good Report Writing Skills
- Strong manual dexterity
- Ideally Chartered Membership of the Institution of Structural Engineers and/or the Institution of Civil Engineering.

- REVIT
