A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Architect with a minimum several years post-chartered experience to join a well-established practice based on the outskirts of Norwich, Norfolk.

The ideal candidate will have an enthusiasm and passion for project delivery, from architectural design through feasibility to on-site completion. A solid technical background and a desire to maintain a diverse portfolio across various sectors are essential.

Skills, Experience and Responsibilities for the role of Architect:

  • ARB registered with several years of UK-based experience post-qualification.
  • Efficiently meet tight deadlines while collaborating with external consultants.
  • Produce technical and working drawings, details, and freehand sketches using AutoCAD.
  • Prepare and submit planning packages and building regulations packages.
  • Experience in working on architectural design projects across various sectors.
  • Proven track record with large-scale and comprehensive architectural projects.
  • Strong technical and design skills, proficient in CAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, etc.
  • Excellent client-facing and leadership skills for managing the design process.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to mentor junior staff.
  • Professional demeanour with the capability to represent the practice externally to clients and referrers.
