Corporate Tax Assistant Manager / Manager

Our client, a forward-thinking accountancy firm have an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager (or Manager) based in their Norwich branch. They also allow hybrid working, usually split 3 days in the office and 2 from home, plus lots of opportunity to progress within the business.

You must be CTA qualified and/or ACA/ACCA qualified with a minimum of 3 years previous experience in practice. You will have experience in corporate tax work or tax compliance as well as supervising trainees.

In your role, you will also be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

  • Handling intricate corporate compliance and advisory tasks.
  • Collaborating with the corporate finance department on tax due diligence.
  • Managing client relationships and engagements.
  • Overseeing fee quotations, invoice generation, and monitoring work in progress.
  • Coordinating with other Managers and Assistant Managers to meet deadlines.
  • Providing assistance and guidance to Trainees and Assistants while supporting their workload and ongoing development.
  • Ensuring adherence to applicable professional standards in all work undertaken.
  • Actively promoting and upholding the Vision and Values of the practice.
