Job Title: Acoustic Consultant
Location: Norwich
Salary: 30,000 - 40,000 + Benefits

An established and expanding acoustic consultancy is looking to add an Acoustic Consultant to its growing team in Norwich. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic professional with experience in environmental or building acoustics to progress their career while working on a wide variety of projects across the East of England and further afield.

In this role, you will assist with delivering technical work, undertake noise assessments, maintain strong client relationships, and help drive the continued development of the company's acoustics offering.

Key responsibilities:

  • Carrying out environmental noise monitoring and building acoustics evaluations

  • Preparing technical documentation, noise impact assessments, and acoustic modelling outputs

  • Communicating effectively with clients, planning teams, and local authorities

  • Supporting senior colleagues with more complex project requirements

  • Assisting with proposals, bids, and wider business development initiatives

Required skills and experience:

  • Degree in Acoustics, Physics, Environmental Science, or a related field

  • Background in environmental noise or building acoustics

  • Excellent technical writing and communication abilities

  • Familiarity with relevant standards (e.g., BS4142, BS8233)

  • Full UK driving licence
