Job Title: Junior Acoustic Consultant
Location: Norwich
Salary: 30,000-40,000 + Benefits

A leading and fast-growing acoustic consultancy is seeking an Acoustic Consultant to join its expanding Norwich team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with experience in environmental or building acoustics to advance their career while contributing to a diverse portfolio of projects across the East of England and beyond.

In this role, you'll be involved in delivering high-quality technical work, completing noise assessments, building strong client relationships, and supporting the continued growth of the company's acoustic services.

Key responsibilities:

  • Undertaking environmental noise surveys and building acoustics assessments

  • Producing technical reports, noise impact assessments, and acoustic modelling outputs

  • Liaising confidently with clients, planning teams, and local authorities

  • Supporting senior staff on complex project work

  • Assisting with bids, proposals, and wider business development activities



Required skills & experience:

  • Degree in Acoustics, Physics, Environmental Science, or similar

  • Experience in environmental noise or building acoustics

  • Strong technical writing and communication skills

  • Knowledge of key acoustic standards (e.g., BS4142, BS8233)

  • Full UK driving licence
